Hello, this is Locus Chain Foundation.
Locus Chain public test will start from 11:00am (UTC+9) today.
Before joining the test, please read the participation guide on the test webpage (https://locuschain.com/ko/PublicTest) and watch its video guide as well.
You can start the test through the button "Get Started" on the test webpage which will open at 11:00am (UTC+9).
There are various opportunities to have expereinces on running nodes, creating wallets, validating data integrity through Verifiable Pruning and ect.
Once you start the test through Get Started, please complete all steps of Get Started menu.

The purpose of this test is like the below:
1) The main goal of this test is to see how Locus Chain successfully implements BFT on DAG ledger structure without the logical fallacy.
The reason why it is important to perform BFT on DAG ledger structure is that if it succeeds, Locus Chain can become proven its scalability as a decentralized public blockchain.
2) The second goal of this test is to see how Locus Chain successfully implements its Verifiable Pruning, which dramatically reduces the size of ledger while it enables to validate data integrity, without the logical fallacy.
3) This test is not intended to conduct stabilization or stress-testing.
Locus Chain will operate the synchronization and stabilization in network after completing the development of Sharding to reduce its cost and time.
For that reason, Locus Chain did not consider to secure the stability in synchronization in this test, so some disorders can occur.
4) During the test, a ledger initialization can be performed for the purpose of test.
