Locus Chain's Consensus Algorithm (POS.BFT📑) relies on a gossip network, ensuring fair and repeated distribution of information across nodes. The algo executes in rounds with voters and proposers chosen each round (read randomly selected nodes). Their goal is to calculate / verify / sign / broadcast hash values that make up Locus Chain. This ensures that eventually, all nodes receive the same information. The goal is to identify the information received by the majority of network nodes.
